Towards Membership workshop
Date for the next workshop is:
- early spring 2012
This is a one-day preparatory session to assist access professionals who are considering, or have applied for, membership of the NRAC. The aim of the workshop is to help you submit a successful application for membership and to perform to your best ability at the interview. The workshop is facilitated by an experienced NRAC Member and the NRAC Manager.
We strongly advise all NRAC applicants to attend the workshop as it significantly increases your chances of submitting a successful application.
By the end of the workshop you will be able to:
- assess your readiness for NRAC membership
- be familiar with the standards required for the written application for membership
- be familiar with the type of questions that you are likely to be asked at the formal interview
- be familiar with the qualities that the NRAC is looking for in an access auditor or consultant
The workshop will include sessions on relevant knowledge of legislation, preparing the written submission, the professional interview, common reasons for failing to be recommended for membership, as well as an opportunity to raise questions and obtain advice from the NRAC.
