We are delighted to announce our second speaker Chris Fry from Inspire Legal, back to tell us all about the cases keeping him busy this year.
Chris' varied caseload specialising in disability and equality currently covers public law with recent experience of York traffic management issues, Judicial Review, and the Public Sector Equality Duty in a civil law context.
Chris will also speak about touch screen technology at point of sale and on lift controls, and travelators for wheelchair users in supermarkets. Chris is advising on problems with the design of systems such as telephone security systems in banking which disadvantage people with speech differences. Also covered is the increasing trend of people with ASD requiring quiet spaces for events.
