Posted on 11th November 2020 by NRAC Administrator

We are delighted to announce that our second speaker Dr Karen Boyce of Ulster University will be talking about her research on fire evacuation on December 3rd.

Dr Karen Boyce is a Senior Lecturer and a member of the Fire Safety Engineering Research and Technology research centre at Ulster University. Her primary focus is understanding the behaviour and movement of occupants during evacuation, with much of her research being about issues related to the evacuation of disabled people.

The final speaker will be talking about transport with an announcement to be made soon.

December 3rd is the International Day of People with Disabilities and also the date of the first of two half-day NRAC Annual Conference sessions, with the second planned for early 2021. The session will be from 9:30am to 12:45pm.
