Judi Watkinson
MCSD, NRAC Consultant
Professional Summary
I support architects, designers and clients through the RIBA design stages with the preparation of inclusive access strategies, Part M architectural design reviews and access statements for building control. I also carry out access audits of existing buildings and the exterior environment.
With a background in architectural interior design and strategic space planning, I work as an inclusive design consultant on a wide variety of projects throughout the UK within the private, public and charity sectors. Projects include historic grade I and grade II* listed buildings through to contemporary commercial fitouts.
I am particularly interested in how good design decisions can have a positive impact not only on disabled and neurodivergent people, but everyone in society.
As well as becoming a NRAC accredited consultant in 2005, I am also a member of the Chartered Society of Designers and the Access Association.
I’d be delighted to help further, please get in contact.
